Announcements – April 1, 2026
We are currently studying for school and for church on “Salvation/Missions”—a study paper will be put online soon.
April 4: Passover Celebration: I have a strong suggestion for a theme this year, but it is an optional theme if you decide to present another aspect of Passover.
Passover theme: “From darkness to light because of Passover.”
People may do open pulpits about Passover in the first service. In the second service, we can do any “leftover” first-service open pulpits as well as Passover-themed “talent” presentations.
The Lord’s Supper will take place in the second service, right after our offering time.
We will have a continental breakfast after the first service and a potblessing after the second service.
Starting April 19, 2026: Spring vacation for Robert and Rosemary. Pastor Cliff Baker will be in charge. Pastor Karen Vander Vliet will be in charge of whatever administrative work is needed.
May 2, 2026: Robert plans to be back.
Sabbath, May 9: I, Rosemary, will be home.
May 9: Edie Hoekstra will be speaking in the first service on the topic “The Power of Presence.”
Announcements – May/June 2026
May 21: Board meeting at 7 PM. We will start our time together by sharing a potblessing.
This meeting is not for a finance report. We have not met for a long time, so it will be a time of discussion.
May 29 at midnight: All ROLLWMS paperwork is due.
May 30: Students will teach at the beginning of the first service. Communion will take place in the second service. ROLLWMS will meet in the office right after the second service.
May 30: The first Light Force time of the season will take place—more about that later.
May 31 through June 27: We will study Joshua and Hebrews.
June 20: There will be a birthday offering for Cliff Baker in the second service.
June 27: ROLLWMS students will teach at the beginning of the first service. Communion will take place in the second service. ROLLWMS will meet in the office right after the second service.
There will be a birthday offering for Dylan Schneider in the second service.
Wednesday night service speakers: Pastor Cliff Baker schedules the Wednesday night speakers. He will be sending notices to the speakers asking them to tell him when they can speak.
Please let Cliff know if you cannot keep a scheduled speaking time. He will make sure someone speaks for the time you cannot do it. Please do not work it out for yourself.

If it is a last-minute situation, such as the day of your scheduled time, please let Rosemary know because she is always willing to fill in for people.
The speakers are Cliff and Annie Baker, Karen Roark, Karen Cook, Karen Vander Vliet, and Hannah Schneider. Richard Menninga is a backup speaker.
To the speakers: In the rare event that Robert and Rosemary make another plan for a Wednesday night that you have been scheduled for, you can preach your sermon another time. Cliff, or Rosemary, will work that out with you.
Senior singles: This group, for singles aged fifty-five and up, meets in the fellowship hall on the first Sabbath of every month after the second service, unless announced otherwise.
