September 30 — Tonight: Roll Call of Nations

Share what the ministry you have chosen is doing and where it is located. You may also share a little about the country in which it serves, especially information that helps us understand the challenges the ministry faces in carrying out its work.

Please pray for that ministry. Each presentation should be no longer than three minutes.

Galatians 3:8–9 (KJV): And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

October 7 — Anniversary Celebration Preparations:

After the usual activities before the sermon, we will prepare for the October 10 celebration.

Richard will oversee the auditorium, including the setup of tables and chairs, because we will eat in the auditorium on October 10. Decorating, cleaning, and other preparations may also take place that evening.

October 10 — Robert and Rosemary’s 50th Anniversary Celebration:

After the service, River of Life will gather in the Fellowship Hall to celebrate Robert and Rosemary’s milestone 50th wedding anniversary. We expect to begin at approximately 1:30 PM. Robert and Rosemary will open with a greeting and prayer for the meal.

This is an after-service event. Guests from outside ROL are welcome to attend our services, but they should feel no obligation to do so. We do not expect them until the table fellowship time.

Robert and Rosemary will also invite family and friends. If you are part of the ROL family and know someone who formerly attended and would enjoy being invited, please feel free to invite them.

Our in-residence chef, Dylan Schneider, will prepare meat, potatoes, and beans. Please bring side dishes such as salads, vegetables, rolls, and desserts.

During dinner, we will open the pulpit for presentations and continue until everyone who has planned to share has had an opportunity. Presentations may include testimonies or insights about marriage, personal words for Robert and Rosemary, songs, poems, or other appropriate contributions.

If you plan to use recorded background music as accompaniment, please give it to the sound team ahead of time. Shortly before October 10, please send lyrics for songs or instrumental presentations to the overhead team so everyone can follow the words: riveroverhead@gmail.com.

For this celebration, please do not choose a recorded song for everyone simply to sit and listen to. We would like ROL members to share their own words and talents in person.

Our usual guideline for presentations is three to five minutes or less. We understand that a special presentation, such as a group contribution, may need extra time.

Because of the special dinner, we will have only a continental breakfast between our services.

November 3–5 — Ministry Fellowship in Florida:

Rosemary will be in Florida, spending each early evening with Rebecca Exposito to encourage her in the ministry there. Please pray that the Lord’s presence will strongly lead and guide their fellowship together.
